If your wick has a “ball of black” on it which crumbles down, it is called "mushrooming". This mushrooming effect will be reduced if you make sure to trim your wick down before each time it is burned.

Frost: Please note that if the product encounters extreme temperature changes (usually in shipping), it is possible for the candle to “frost” which creates small, crystallized spots in the wax. Wet Spots: Please note that if the product encounters extreme temperature changes (usually in shipping), it is possible for the wax to pull away from the glass. Frosting and wet spots do not affect the soy wax, or how it burns, it in fact, it can appear on all types of soy wax and is a sign that the wax is 100% natural.
